Glacier National Park, Montana
Left Glacier for Rainier. Seemed like a short distance. It wasn't. I drove & drove & drove. Had to stop for construction.
Those mountain roads really cut down on your speed. I finally got somewhat near Rainier. It was getting dark so I stopped in a campground in Snoqualimie National Forest. Big deal.
Slept in the car 'cause I didn't want to set up tent and it was too cold to sleep outdoors, I thought.
