Pfieffer Big Sur State Park, Big Sur Campground, California
Woke up late. Ate a hearty breakfast - two bacon and egg sandwiches, the usual. Then I went to Point Lobos.
Its a point sticking out in the ocean. There are sea lions on the islands offshore. They bark and growl. They're big animals, too.
Most of this particular coast area is dry land and is made up of grasslands. Then there are regular pine forests and primeval Monterey Pine forests. Over everything hangs the fog which has been blowing in for several days. It's an interesting area.
Then I went back to camp.
